The National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has the IPR listening area under a slight risk for severe thunderstorms, today (Mon.). The SPC says there is a 15-percent chance of large hail and damaging winds, and a 10-percent chance of tornadoes. However, the SPC adds within the 10-percent chance of tornadic activity, there is a 10% or greater probability of EF2 – EF5 tornadoes within 25 miles of a map point, anywhere in the IPR listening area, between Ft. Wayne and Indianapolis. Stay tuned to IPR for the latest developments in today’s severe weather potential.
