In 2009, journalist Laura Ling made headlines around the world when she and a fellow reporter were kidnapped by North Korean soldiers and spent four months as a prisoner of that country. Last night, Ling was at Ball State to tell her story for a lecture series on leadership. IPR’s Cody Butler reports.
