BSU Storm Chasers Trek to Missouri

(MUNCIE) – FOLLOWING THE DEVASTATING TORNADO IN JOPLIN, MISSOURI, A GROUP OF BALL STATE STORM CHASERS IS HEADING TO THE STATE TO TRACK MORE STORMS. DR. DAVID CALL WITH THE BALL STATE STORM CHASERS SAYS THAT ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS WHY THE TORNADO IN JOPLIN WAS SO DEVASTATING WAS BECAUSE IT WAS HARD TO SEE BECAUSE IT WAS SURROUNDED BY CURTAINS OF RAIN IN THE STORM. THE BALL STATE STORM CHASERS ARE HEADING TO KANSAS CITY TO HOPEFULLY STUDY MORE STORMS IN THE AREA.
