Heavy rains pelted Huntington county yesterday causing portions of U.S. 24 and a number of county roads to be closed due to flooding. As of 2:15 p.m. today (Sun.), the Huntington County Sheriff’s Department reports flood waters have receded from U.S. 24, and all county roads the agency checked were passable again. Some areas, however, might have stretches of water in or across roadways. Caution is still advised.
