Indiana House business moves to Senate

Speaker Brian Bosma has decided the Indiana House’s legislative business will attempt to proceed in the Senate…  with House Democrats still in Illinois and a quorum impossible in the lower chamber.  Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Brandon Smith reports.

Meanwhile, Bosma has increased the fine for missing House Democrats by one hundred dollars a day.  He says the House will discuss censuring those missing legislators on Monday.  Governor Mitch Daniels says the House Republican leadership has done more than enough to bring the Democrats back.
