Protesters Expected Monday at the Statehouse

(STATEHOUSE) – THOUSANDS OF DEMONSTRATORS ARE EXPECTED TO CONVERGE ON THE INDIANA STATEHOUSE TODAY (MONDAY) IN PROTEST OF A NEW BILL THAT COULD MAKE INDIANA A RIGHT-TO-WORK STATE. A HOUSE COMMITTEE WILL CONSIDER THE BILL. THE BILL WOULD STRIP MANY UNIONS OF THE ABILITY TO NEGOTIATE WAGES AND WORK RULES. THE BILL‘S SPONSOR, REPRESENTATIVE JERRY TORR, SAYS A RIGHT-TO-WORK LAW WOULD BRING JOBS TO INDIANA.
