Anderson Citizens Discuss “Right to Work” Bill

(ANDERSON) – AN IMPROMPTU TOWN HALL MEETING WAS HELD IN ANDERSON SUNDAY TO DISCUSS THE ‘RIGHT TO WORK‘ BILL CURRENTLY UNDER DEBATE AT THE STATEHOUSE. THE BILL WOULD STRIP MANY UNIONS OF THE ABILITY TO NEGOTIATE WAGES AND WORK RULES. SEVERAL LOCAL LAWMAKERS SAY THE LEGISLATION WILL HARM THE MIDDLE CLASS. A HEARING ON ‘RIGHT TO WORK‘ IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN THIS (MON.) MORNING. THOUSANDS OF DEMONSTRATORS ARE EXPECTED TO CONVERGE ON STATEHOUSE TO PROTEST.
