Indiana Senate debates electronically tracking meth-making drugs

Senate lawmakers working to curb meth production in Indiana are trying to implement an electronic tracking system for ephedrine and pseudoephedrine.  A Senate committee today heard arguments from both sides about the proposed system.  Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Brandon J. Smith reports.

Update:  This afternoon, the Senate Corrections and Crime Committee voted unanimously (9-0) to advance the bill to the full Senate.
