Rokita Says Feds Should Follow Indiana’s Example

(WASHINGTON, D-C) – INDIANA‘S FOURTH DISTRICT CONGRESSMAN SAYS WASHINGTON SHOULD USE INDIANA AS ITS EXAMPLE. TODD ROKITA SAYS THE PRESIDENT‘S PROPOSAL IN HIS STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS TO FREEZE DISCRETIONARY SPENDING DOESN‘T GO FAR ENOUGH. ROKITA SAYS THE PRESIDENT IS ONLY FREEZING ONE THIRD OF THE SPENDING. ROKITA‘S PLAN? TO NOT ONLY GO BACK TO 2008 LEVELS ACROSS THE BOARD, BUT TO TAKE ANOTHER 15 PERCENT ACROSS THE BOARD WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT INDIANA DID.
