Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels is in Asia again this week, promoting the Hoosier state to overseas companies. On Thursday, Daniels met with representatives of two large Chinese auto manufacturers in Hangzhou. One is already working with Indiana-based EnerDel. The other just acquired Volvo. During the visit, Daniels spoke positively about the U.S. and China connection.
The trip hasn’t yielded any major job announcements for Indiana yet. Daniels leaves China for Japan on Sunday… and is expected to return to Indiana on November 17th.
