The Indianapolis Colts beat the Denver Broncos, Sunday, 27-13 in Denver. The Colts are now 2-and-1.
In college football over the weekend, the state’s big four went 1-and-3. Ball State was shutout for the first time since 2005. The 18th-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes blanked the Cards 45-to-zero.
Ball State’s partner in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) West Division, Toledo, beat Purdue in West Lafayette, 31-to-20.
Indiana beat MAC East member Akron in Bloomington 35-to-20.
And, Stanford clanked Notre Dame 37-to-14, at Notre Dame.
